I am astounded at the huge world of internet technology! I can’t believe that one online business alone is larger than most nations! I have so much to learn!

On another note, we did live in the Loita Hills. I’m sure it was the SIL group. I remember thinking it was strange to see so many wazungu around suddenly. The RVA piki safari came by our house up there too, but I think that was before you were at Rift. The guys convinced my dad to take them on a “road” that hadn’t been used in about 50 years. Long story short, they were a week late back to campus!

Anyway, it’s fun to stay connected to other people who have lived similar lives. The internet is such a great way to keep the world relatively small. Blessings! Enjoy the rest of your conference in Vegas.

I think you’re talking about the SIL training program for new missionaries that was called “Kenya Safari”. Did you live out in Loita Hills, or somewhere else? I used to love visiting those camps on breaks from RVA.

I do plan on running my big murasa around the rugby pitch a little bit at the RVA Centennial. I’m guessing I’ll be dead tired after 15 minutes, but not before I teach one of those young hooligans how to tackle properly! 🙂

Also, thanks for signing up for Zangu News. Thakadu and I are working hard to get a prototype up for the Beta testers to see in the next couple of weeks. We’ll definitely keep you posted.

Not sure if you remember me or not. I was a couple years behind you at RVA. A group from your parents’ mission came and camped near our house with John Arensen and that is when I first met you and your sister.

Anyway, I am not an overly technological person, but I have been trying to learn more. I signed up with your Zangu project and am anxious to see more about your ideas for the advancement of Africa’s computer world.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your blog and especially your definition of a White African. I’m ridiculously jealous that you’re headed back in July. Think of all of us as you grub on nyama choma and cold tusker. Greet RVA for me. Will you be playing any of the alumni games? Rugby at least? Best of luck to you!
