Thu, 26 Jun 2008 12:46:52 +0000http://whiteafrican.com/?p=1090#comment-5837seriously Safari sevens is nothing without Tusker.Its a well known fact that the most attanded events are those orgernised by East African Breweries and Celtel.Tusker drops this tournament its dead.And trust me we don’t attend coz of the rugby we attend coz its Tusker’s beer festival.Ave attended 12 of the 13 tournaments.The reason why Tusker is not sponsoring the national team after almost 5 yrs of growing the team is coz KRFU were blackmailing them.We had a big festival- Tusker race day, it was the only time Kenyans used to turn out in large numbers to watch horse racing but then they withdrew their sponsorship and now its dead.Tusker gave this tournament 24 million, no other company can do that in Kenya so woe unto the fans and the federation if they withdraw!
