My friend sent time this TED link to Agassi's talk... everyone needs to hear this: http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/shai_agassi_on_electric_cars.html
and I beleive EVERYONE has the desire to embrace this change. TELL me what I can do 'right now' to prepetuate this movement.

I have huge respect for Agassi.
But, more important than electrifying our vehicle fleet, is to simply stop driving. We can easily work online with each other. We might need to have some more broadband roll-out in rural places (maybe wimax?). But in places with broadband, working from home, or coworking near home is a no-brainer. I won't EVER buy a car.
