PROFILE

I consider myself an open-minded person who feels at ease in a challenging and dynamic environment. At the same time I am self-sufficient and I have pro-active/hands-on approach towards problems and responsibilities.

INTERESTS

Travelling: I had an exciting experience in summer 2001 living in Brasil for two months. Good memories also of New York, Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. I traveled a lot during all my life, even because part of my family lives in Holland, Spain, Great Britain, New York and Argentina. I am planning voluntary work in South America.
Art: visiting museums and expositions.
Music: Since March 1999 I play guitar and I write songs for a rock and roll band “I Lobello”, we are preparing our 4th album.
I played for four years in the Samba orchestra “Mitoka Samba” the first Italian samba orchestra.
Since May 2007 I write and anchor the radio program “Swen” in the Radio Of The “Università Roma La Sapienza”, Radio Sapienza.

Lots of people are involved agricultural extension and disease prevention efforts. Podcasts to radio sets are a viable way to distribute such information–and much more. I could imagine radio stations facilitating the making of podcasts. There are many possibilities for mash up. For example a farmer’s group listens to a podcast with agricultural information. In addition to listening they might have the opportunity to ask questions or add information via the digital recorder feature of the MP3 player. In turn a broadcast radio program then has content so they can listen to the audience, and content they can share from the audience in broadcast. Radio stations are a key link for digital information in Africa.
