1. Does early stage funding for the listed start-ups also include funds from competitions and grants?

2. I am particularly interested in how wezatele did their exit(Did they get acquired like mledger did? ) maybe their exit strategy could be utilized by other start-ups in the space

I am extremely happy to see the tech sector mature, a few years ago it was almost unheard to hear about tech start ups in “dark continent”. I would like to congratulate all the listed ones as well as the entrepreneurs who tried but never got past early stages due to circumstances such as lack of funding e.t.c .Best of wishes to all in 2015 and more in years to come.
