Tue, 09 Feb 2010 09:47:21 +0000http://whiteafrican.com/?p=3235#comment-8569Erik, many thanks for this one. The responses (or lack of it) by Telcos especially Safaricom leaves one to wonder. If Telcos in South Africa and other countries in Africa have better deals/revenue-share/open payment APIs for content developers than Kenyan Telcos perhaps they can partner with the Kenyan developers. However if that’s not the case then local developers better learn Japanese 8~).

I wanted to mention that there are other players in the mobile payment processing space. There is iPay, a product from Intrepid Data Systems Ltd. iPay – Online Transactions Made Easy. Hi Kasomo…. good to see your post.

Thu, 04 Feb 2010 19:49:01 +0000http://whiteafrican.com/?p=3235#comment-8566thank you erik. really informative. I’m a bit sceptical though of Rick Joubert’s comment – “$540m is the real number ” – income from content in SA. Any ideas on how he gets to this number?
