This is exciting for me. Two topics I’ve written about in the past (Somaliland & Pirates) come together for a glorious story at the BBC: Pirates Hijack Ship Off Somalia.
It appears that ship captains are warned to stay as far away from the coast of Somalia as humanly possible. A ship called the Pagania has been hijacked for a ransom of $700,000. Luckily Mr. Mwanguara, a Kenyan no less, assures us that the hostages are unharmed.
